Thanks

After two months from my start, in Italy, the 13th of June, I would really like to say hello and thank You to all the people met till now in my trip.

I start from the beginning, when in Zagreb we received for free spare parts for our helmets by the Croatian importer of Premier helmets: Migo Moto, in the person of Miljenko Goji. Thank You!

Then in Beograd we stayed at hostelfair, and I would like to say hello to Tamara! She informed us that we had forgot our identity cards at the hostel… Thanks a lot also to Centar S, Honda Motors Service in Beograd, that helped us precharging our back dumper springs for free.

Then I would like to say hello to the guy met at SofiaGuestHouse, Sofia, Bulgaria: I don’t remember his name, but I will add as soon as possible the url of his interesting website, take a look at it!

Turkey: thank You very much to Omer, who helped me and Filippo a lot, translating at the Police Station from Turkish to English. It would have been very difficult, or quite impossible, without him. Sherif’s has been very kind, too. Thank You also to Husseyin Belek: he has been very kind to drive me to the car park and help me take away Filippo’s Motorbike, even if communication between us has really been very difficult. A typical example of language barrier.

Iran. I have a lot of people to thank in Iran: starting from Mehdi, really very kind friend, met in Teheran, in Hotel Sasan. He is from Khoy. Then I want to say thank You very much to Ali Reza, who hosted me in his house at Azad Shahr: a really very kind and man. Thank You also to all his family, especially to his cousin, a policeman who helped me when I was searching for an hotel. When arrived in Quchan, I have been helped by Hadi, by his brother Mohammad and his cousin Vahid. Hadi helped me with translation, with my bags, and then we went altogether to have dinner out. Thank You also to the guy at the pension where I stayed in Quchan, I don’t remember his name. He waited me till 11pm, saying that it’s a very late time in that place… He and all his family had dinner so late, after my arrival…

Turkmenistan: thank You to Merjen, who helped me find an internet café, and to Muhamed, who helped me find a good restaurant in Ashgabat, driving me with his car. Then I must say thank You very much to Azat and all his family, in Mary: they hosted me in their home, prepared for me dinner, had a tour of the city with me, and drove me out of the city in the morning, even paying benzin to me. Thank You to Azat, his mother, his brother, his friends and all his family.

Uzbekistan: thank You to the guys at Hotel Atlas, in Bukhara, very kind and speaking english very well. Thank You to all people of Hotel Expo, Tashkent. They gave me a typical uzbek small statue and they cleaned my motorbike, parked in the restaurant for the night… Then a very big Thank You to Airat and all his family, to his beautiful daughters, to his son, his wife, to Alex and to Rasul.
