I am BackHome.
After 9 and a half months, nearly 35000 km on my motorbike, 17 Countries.
I was at the Airport in Kuala Lumpur at 06.30 in the morning, the plane took off at 09:45 and landed at London at 16:30... but the flight lasted about 14 hours! (7 hours of time zone difference...)
My parents, brother and sister, and friends were waiting for me at the Airport, a beautiful Welcome Back.
And a big surprise at home, where other friends and relatives were waiting for me, with cakes, fruit, drinks, a great party! We saw a beautiful video of my trip edited by my brother Claudio.
Thank You everybody!
I would like to quickly say thank You to all the wonderful people I met in these months, all around the world, who all helped me with a dinner, or a bed, a suggestion, or a smile.
We can speak about Coutries, Governments, or Police, but people, the simple "normal" people, are nice and welcoming everywhere, really! The World is a wonderful place.
I am now happy to be home,
but I am still thinking of the places I saw, people I met, landscapes I crossed and skies that I admired,
and I now think that in my mind, even more than before, I will continue dreaming of new places to see,
in our big beautiful world.
Dreams warm your heart, everybody has dreams, and everybody should fight for their dreams: we are limited only by the limits that our mind put to ourselves.
See You all some time, somewhere, in the World.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Sono tornato. Sono a casa.
Dopo 9 mesi e mezzo, quasi 35mila km in moto, 17 Paesi.
I miei genitori, mio fratello e mia sorella, e amici, mi stavano aspettando all'aeroporto: un bel bentornato!
E poi una grossa sorpresa a casa, dove altri amici e parenti mi stavano aspettando, con dolci, frutta, bibite, una grande festa! Abbiamo visto un bel video del mio viaggio montato da mio fratello Claudio.
Grazie a tutti!
Vorrei velocemente ringraziare tutte le persone meravigliose che ho incontrato in questi mesi, in giro per il mondo, che mi hanno tutti aiutato, con una cena, o un letto, con un consiglio, o un sorriso.
Possiamo discuterne riguardo a Paesi, Governi, Polizia,

KL
After 5 days in Bali, I am now in Kuala Lumpur.
I have been to the Petronas Towers (not up...unluckily they sell only 1000 tickets a day, and there's the line before 8 in the morning...) and to the KL tower (up, 421m, but the observation deck is "only" at 276m above the ground). I have eaten rice, vegetables and chicken on a banana leaf instead of the dish, but I have asked for a fork: the others were eating directly with their hands.
Tomorrow, if everything will be ok, if the Airasia flight will not be late in London (statistics are good...), I will be back home.
My Ryanair will land at Treviso at 22.00 CET.

88
88, like the days spent in Australia (to be correct, 88nights, 89 days, because the first night was in the plane from Japan...)
It's a fucking long time mates! ;-)
But not enough even to see a half of this (that...) big continent...
What I liked most?
The Outback of course! a real adventure, and even if finished before than the plans made,
I could in any case taste the real Outback.
Now I am in Bali, on the way home.
I will let u know about this...

Perth
4 days in Perth
Day 1: The Esplanade, The Bell Tower (I did not enter because it was late, but in any case I would have not paid 13 dollars to see some bells...even if the Swan Bells...), a walk in London Court (in Perth CBD) and then a nice walk to Kings Park, where the sunset was really nice.
Day 2: Cottesloe beach, very beautiful beach: a nice swim, and then Sculpture by the Sea, a really interesting exposition of sculptures (on the picture my favourite one). Fish & Chips (expensive: 14 bucks, but good, and more than enough), and then a short walk in Fremantle (only the center, not South Fremantle...)
Day 3: Train to Rockingham, to see Penguin Island. I have not "walked" to the island, it was high tide, I did not feel it safe... I took the ferry, then saw the feeding of the small penguins, took a nap, walk around the island and back to the city. A short visit to the Casino (I won 20 bucks, but it did not take too long to spend them again...) and then Free Salsa Lesson at Northbridge. Back pretty tired.
Day 4: Sorting out what to take and what to ship backhome. Walk in Heirisson Island, then bus to the Airport.

V8
On my last day in Adelaide, friday 18th,
I went to the "Clipsal 500", the second race of the Australian V8 Championship.
It's held on the road circuit of Adelaide, where years ago the F1 GP took place
It's a 4-days event, but I decided to go only on Friday, because of money, and because actually I do not know anything about this kind of races: cars, teams, pilots... I am not a fan, so 1 day was enough.
There are only two main big makes, even if with many different teams, and all the fans are divided between HOLDEN (australian make, most of the people support it)

And FORD
I did not know that these cars have a V8 5000cc displacement, with 640 hp!!! Incredibly powerful...
A lot of races all the day: the Aussie Cars
the PickUp Race (UTE),
the Formula Ford race (500kg, no wings, Ford Fiesta engine 4L 1600cc, 125 hp)
the old cars race
and the 1hour GT race.
Then amusement park,
(I did not try this attraction...)
FMX (FreeStyle Moto Cross)
eating something,
and the "Birds of Tokyo" concert.
A full day.

A Day At The Races
(English Version)
Today I went to the races, as I said.
Horse Races.
It was my first time. Even if there's a quite big Racetrack in my hometown
(I reckon that the one here in Adelaide is bigger) but I've never been there.
There have been 10 races, it was really crowded,
I did not think to find so many people, and all dressed in different ways:
a lot of men wearing jacket and tie, many different colors, some crazy colors! like this bright green
girls and women wearing strange dresses, and incredible hats!
I bet something, a few dollars. And of course I lost them.
But many people gambling hundreds of bucks!
I have seen maybe for the first time the 100$ note: people betting 100$ easily like they were 10!
And then, so many drunk people (both boys and girls):
it's everywhere like this, I know, You know,
but the fact is that it was aftenoon, under the sun!
Race number 8 was Adelaide Cup: 400 grands to the winner!!!
It was the one with most support, all people crazy, shouting and screaming for their favourite horse.
There was a concert at the end of the races, and the security had to separate to guys punching one another...
Then, I went to see the sunset at Windy Point, on the Adelaide Hills (I was there also yesterday night, and I can witness why they called liked this...):
I missed it for a few minutes, shit!
But I could in any case admire the wonderful landscape from there:
You can see the Airport, the City, and the Ocean! Amazing!
Really a very very nice spot!

e ea "j" se lexe come na "i", parchè noialtri a Padova no dixemo "gèra", come che i fa da altre parti in Veneto, ma dixemo "iera", come na "i", però ghe sta mejo a "j"...
